Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of haultrustx.com (the "Service"), operated by HaulTrustX ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What HaulTrustX Is

HaulTrustX is a directory for looking up licensed auto-transport carriers and brokers, reading and writing reviews about them, and claiming a business listing you're authorized to manage. It is not a broker, carrier, or party to any shipment arranged between you and a company listed here.

Accounts

• You must provide an accurate, currently-reachable email address (and phone number, if you choose SMS verification).
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account, including keeping access to the email/phone/Google account you log in with secure.
• One account per person - don't create accounts to evade a suspension or to misrepresent who you are.

Claiming a Business

You may only claim a business listing you are actually authorized to represent - claims are verified against the official contact information on file for that business (its listed email or phone). Claiming a listing you're not authorized to manage, or providing false verification information, is grounds for immediately revoking that claim and suspending your account.

Reviews and Other Content

• You're solely responsible for the reviews and other content you post - it must be honest, based on your own experience or knowledge, and not defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
• By posting a review, you grant HaulTrustX a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute it as part of the Service.
• We may remove content, or suspend the account that posted it, that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law - we don't pre-screen content, but we don't guarantee we'll leave everything up either.
• A business's "verified" or "carrier/broker member" markers reflect that we confirmed a specific fact (e.g. control of the business's official contact, or a matching transaction) at the time - they're not a certification of the review's overall accuracy.

Directory Data Isn't a Guarantee

Company information shown on HaulTrustX - DOT/MC numbers, address, contact info, insurance and authority status - is sourced from public FMCSA records and our own carrier and broker data, and may be out of date or inaccurate. It's provided for informational purposes only. Before relying on it for a business decision (e.g. hiring a carrier), verify current authority and insurance status directly with FMCSA or the company itself.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond normal browsing;
• Post fake reviews, or reviews for a transaction that didn't happen;
• Impersonate a business or another person, or claim a listing you don't represent;
• Attempt to interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers to operate - hosting and infrastructure (AWS), SMS delivery (Telnyx, if you choose phone verification), and sign-in (Google, if you choose "Continue with Google"). Your use of those providers' underlying services (e.g. your Google account itself) is also governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listed company's information is complete or current.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HaulTrustX will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service or your reliance on any information in it - including any decision to hire, work with, or transact with a company found through HaulTrustX.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violating these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us below.

Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
