HaulTrustX ("we," "us," or "our") operates haultrustx.com, a directory that lets you look up licensed auto-transport carriers and brokers, read and write reviews, and claim a business listing you're authorized to manage. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
We display information about carriers and brokers - company name, DOT/MC number, address, phone, email, and insurance/authority status - sourced from public FMCSA records and our own carrier and broker data. This is business and regulatory information, not personal information about our website's visitors.
Star ratings and written comments you submit about a carrier or broker, and, for reviews tied to a specific completed shipment, a snapshot of that transaction's details (such as pickup/delivery locations) as they were at the time.
A session cookie that keeps you logged in (deleted when you log out or it expires), and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
If you choose "Continue with Google," we receive your email address, whether Google has confirmed you control that email, your name, and a link to your Google profile picture - used only to create or log into your HaulTrustX account and, if you have one, show your picture next to your account in the site. We link to that picture directly from Google rather than storing a copy of it ourselves. We don't request or receive access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google data beyond this basic profile information.
HaulTrustX also publishes a free Chrome extension ("HaulTrustX Reviews") that shows a carrier's or broker's HaulTrustX rating directly on Super Dispatch and Central Dispatch pages. This section describes that extension's own data practices, which are separate from and narrower than the website's.
The extension reads the carrier or broker name or DOT number already visible on the Super Dispatch/Central Dispatch page you're viewing, and sends only that value to HaulTrustX's public review-lookup API (haultrustx.com) to retrieve that company's rating. It doesn't collect, store, or transmit your personal data, browsing history, or any other page content - it only talks to haultrustx.com for this lookup. No account or sign-in is required to use it, and it doesn't set cookies or use any analytics or tracking of its own.
On Super Dispatch specifically - a carrier's own profile page, and the order/ requests list pages that link to one - the extension reads Super Dispatch's own sign-in token, already stored in that page's local storage by Super Dispatch's own app for its own use, and sends it directly back to Super Dispatch's own servers (api.shipper.superdispatch.com), the same request Super Dispatch's own app already makes, to look up a carrier's DOT number. This token is read fresh each time and used only for that one request - the extension never stores it, logs it, or sends it anywhere other than back to Super Dispatch itself.
We keep account and review data for as long as your account remains active. One-time verification codes and the SMS messages used to deliver them are kept for a limited period for support and fraud-prevention purposes, not indefinitely.
HaulTrustX is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13.
