I used GQ Line LLC to transport my Porsche GT4 RS from Massachusetts to New Jersey through Montway. I had concerns before pickup after seeing other negative reviews, but I decided to proceed with the carrier. In hindsight, I regret that decision. The transport setup appeared extremely basic and unprofessional for a high-value vehicle. The car was moved with a pickup truck and trailer, and simple wooden blocks were being used as part of the loading setup. Compared with other vehicle transport operations I have seen, this was one of the least professional-looking setups I have personally encountered. After delivery, I documented a separate, substantially larger area of damage to the front lip. There was a minor pre-existing mark elsewhere on the lip, which I have never disputed. GQ relied on a pickup photograph of that different minor mark to deny responsibility for the damage I am claiming. I provided before-and-after photographs and obtained a Porsche dealer estimate of $1,645.06 plus tax. I contacted GQ directly to dispute the denial, but received no substantive response or meaningful claim resolution. Communication and claim handling were extremely poor. I have since filed a formal complaint with FMCSA regarding the handling of the claim. Based on my experience, I would not use GQ Line again, particularly for a valuable or low-clearance vehicle.
Can you file insurance claim against carrier's insurance?
Ask your broker (Montway) for certificate of insurance for carrier (GQ Line LLC), then contact insurance and tell them you would like to file a claim.
I work for a broker and my experience that used Porsche purchases half of the time end up here. Customer harasses driver to send him money for damage that is not really visible on a pictures. And when it comes to actually filing claim to insurance, thoughts of insurance fraud and new boyfriend in prison stop it where it is right now. This particular case could be different, but there is a pattern with buyers of used Porches.

Tesla was delivered fine Tallahassee, FL to Farmers Branch TX. Took couple of days to get $50 broker fee but all good.
Subaru Outback from Lakewood, OH to Orange, CA. Customer changed location and this carrier could still make it work.
We had pickup communicated to customer 5-7PM, but at 7PM it turned into noon of next day.
Picked up the car, called customer re-negotiating price because of 70lbs in a trunk. Refused to return car back and cancel. Delivered 2 days late, communication ignored. $64 broker fee not paid.
